Aquaman: King of Atlantis is an American three-part blithe miniseries produced past James Wan for the streaming service HBO Max, based on the DC Comics character Aquaman.[2] The series is produced by DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Animation and Atomic Monster Productions. Set later on the events of Wan'southward 2018 DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film Aquaman,[3] [4] although not approved to the DCEU,[five] the miniseries began on October 14, 2021 and subsequent episodes were released on a weekly ground.[6] It volition also air on Cartoon Network on May 14, 2022.[vii] It will be released on DVD on June 21, 2022 and will exist re-edited as a feature-length film.[8] [ix] It was originally to air as office of the Peak Night block.

A iii-part animated miniseries based on the DC Comics grapheme Aquaman was announced in January 2020.[11] James Wan, who directed the 2018 live-action film and its upcoming 2023 sequel, serves as executive producer. The miniseries premiered on HBO Max.[eleven] [12] [13] The characters Mera, Vulko, and Ocean Primary also announced in the series.[fourteen] [1] [15] The series will air on Cartoon Network on May 14, 2022.[16] Information technology was originally to air as part of the Height Nighttime cake. Aquaman: King of Atlantis was released on October 14, 2021.[17]
